Mary Fowler is a Barbie Role Model Doll
Always Human represented athlete, Mary Fowler joins Venus Williams and other trailblazing sportswomen from around the world who, with Barbie, seek to encourage girls to stay in sports and achieve their full potential.
Paris-bound Mary Fowler is being celebrated by Barbie with a one-of-a-kind Barbie doll in her likeness, as Barbie continues the brand’s 65th anniversary celebrations.
Alongside Fowler, Barbie is honouring eight other athletes from around the world including game changing tennis player Venus Williams (US), the first woman in tennis to earn equal prize money at Wimbledon, and Christine Sinclair (Canada), soccer’s greatest international scorer.

In a partnership procured by the Always Human talent division, Mary Fowler worked closely with Barbie to create her very own doll, paying particular attention to the Barbie doll’s hair, her boots and, of course, her gloves.

In line with Mary’s personal mission to encourage young girls in sport, the Barbie Role Model campaign recognises the profound impact sports can have in igniting the confidence of young girls. Both Barbie and Fowler are committed to empowering girls to continue to pursue their interest in sports and their belief in their limitless potential.
The news of the partnership has been covered extensively by global media outlets, with hero coverage secured in The Guardian, ABC News, ESPN and BBC News.
